Day 3: Coming Home in the Rain

The boys and I had breakfast before we left The Cities.

We made an impulse purchase on the way home.

Reunited with Emily, there was rain dancing...

...and rain percussion.

And a snacky dinner!

Day 2: A Trip to The Cities with Only The Boy

Em had to stay home for the start of tech week for Alice in Wonderland, so Billy had us to himself.

He napped in the car...

Woke up for a chocolate donut and a view of Milacs Lake...

Multitasked...

...and joined us for dinner at Donatelli's!

Day 1: The Day the Goldfish Died

Bill and Emily were up at 5:45am, ready to start Summer Vacation! No amount of cajoling, entreating, scolding or yelling would deter them, so I got up and went downstairs. I was greeted by this:

This is (was) Donny -- short for Donatello -- Emily's goldfish. 

After the prescribed mourning period of 1.5 minutes, the scientific inquiry began:

 Then we had our Cosby Show moment, "Donny was a good fish, and lived a long time."

*FLUSH*
